In July 23th 2015, The International Friendly Match of Volkswagen Cup between Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao FC and Bayern Munich FC startd at Tianhe Stadium in Guangzhou.The two sides drew 0 to 0 in the conventional game. Finally Guangzhou Evergrande’s goalkeeper Zeng Cheng denied Thomas Muller’s spot-kick and helped his team beat the German giants 5-4 in penalty shootout, winning the game.
